Rukin Hyland & Riggin LLP Class Action Case Featured in the New York Times

The New York Times reported on a lawsuit we have been prosecuting against SCI (the largest funeral home company in America) and the Santa Clara County Coroner’s office on behalf of drivers who transport the deceased, including homicide victims, auto accident fatalities, and the Silicon Valley elite. Our clients contend that they and other drivers had to perform their jobs without receiving basic protections owed employees (such as minimum wage, overtime, and workers’ compensation), and were required to bear the expenses associated with performing the removals on behalf of the County and SCI. We feel privileged to represent them in this fight. See the article here.
